About Us

We are a Spirit-filled, Bible believing church, who aim to live out our lives together in accordance with the Word of God. We believe in the Trinity - Father, Son & Holy Spirit. The aim of Cornerstone Christian fellowship is to live in such a way that we reflect the love of Christ, as taught in the scriptures. We believe the word of God calls the church to be involved in the community in which we live. The church is not a building. The church is the people.
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?”
1 Corinthians 3:16

Today, we call Cornerstone House our home. This community centre is more than just a building; it’s a hub of social and community services where lives are touched, friendships are forged, and faith is nurtured.

The truth of this scripture is how we will fulfil our mission statement: "A church in community within the community."
One of my favourite quotes from Francis of Assis captures the very essence of our mission statement:
"Preach the Gospel to all the world; if necessary use words."
Our prayer is that we will be a blessing to the people around us as we reach out,
in many different ways, to help and to serve the community of Cumbernauld.
